MATT WALKER

Soundtracks/Music For Film

Contact me if you need music composed for film and television.

I can usually come up with something fairly quickly - from musical concept to finished product within a few days.

I have contact with musicians throughout Australia and overseas who I can call on  when needed.

I have my own music studio, The 8-Track Shack - and access to other recording studios and music editing facilities.

In-house facilities include analogue reel to reel recorder and mixing desk and full Pro Tools computer set-up.

Engineer of choice, Dave Manton, is available to help capture and tailor the musical compositions to the form required for the particular project.

Contact Matt for cd samplers of original instrumental music.

In Prospect Bay, a remote outpost on the South Australian coast, two communities, the Goonyas (whites) and the Nungas (blacks), come together on the one field they have in common, the football field. But the underlying racism and class warfare threatens to make the team's greatest victories irrelevant. This holds particularly true for Blacky, a white teen who is more interested in books than sport, and his best friend, Dumby, the Aboriginal star of the team.

The hour-long documentary begins with vox pops from younger women about their expectations and includes sobering facts about fertility and a sprightly whirl through past trends, but at the heart of the program are the frank stories and views related by the three couples. They reveal hopes, fears, joys and challenges, and canvas social issues ranging from feminism to child care.
